After handling a high snap with poise, Arnold showcased his strength and agility by stiff-arming a Green Wave defender. He then made a decisive push towards the pylon, extending the ball over the goal line to secure a touchdown in Owen Field’s north end zone.
Arnold’s 1-yard touchdown capped off an impressive 14-play, 69-yard drive that consumed nearly six minutes of the first-quarter clock. This was the Sooners’ second rushing touchdown of the season, with Taylor Tatum having scored the first one against Temple two weeks ago. Arnold’s score underscored his playmaking ability and his crucial role in the team’s offensive strategy.
