After handling a high snap with poise, Arnold showcased his strength and agility by stiff-arming a Green Wave defender. He then made a decisive push towards the pylon, extending the ball over the goal line to secure a touchdown in Owen Field’s north end zone.
Arnold’s 1-yard touchdown capped off an impressive 14-play, 69-yard drive that consumed nearly six minutes of the first-quarter clock. This was the Sooners’ second rushing touchdown of the season, with Taylor Tatum having scored the first one against Temple two weeks ago.
