Kay Adams, popular host of “Up and Adams,” has officially put to rest rumors that she’s romantically involved with New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. During a recent appearance on “The 25/10 Show,” Adams addressed the swirling speculation, confirming that while she is a big supporter of Jones, the relationship is purely professional.
“I’m not dating Daniel Jones — breaking, breaking news,” Adams said during the interview with hosts LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson. “I’ve met him all of two times, wish him the best, I’m pretty sure he has a girlfriend.” This clarification comes after weeks of internet buzz, with fans speculating on the nature of her interactions with the 27-year-old quarterback.
Jones, who has been linked to longtime girlfriend Ella Bonafede in the past, has not publicly commented on the rumors. Meanwhile, McCoy couldn’t resist taking a jab at the struggling Giants, poking fun at their 0-2 start. “She cleared the air, they are not dating… plus, you know you like the winning quarterbacks,” McCoy quipped.
The dating rumors first took off during a training camp session where Adams interviewed Jones. A seemingly awkward moment led to social media speculation, with some believing Adams had fumbled her words out of nervousness around the quarterback. She had previously laughed off the rumors on her own show, calling Jones her “boy” in a playful, protective manner.
On the field, Jones has had a challenging start to the season. In the Giants’ opening game against the Vikings, he was sacked five times and threw two interceptions in a disappointing 28-6 loss. Though he improved the following week with two touchdowns in a close 21-18 loss to the Commanders, the Giants remain winless.
As Jones gears up for his next matchup against the Cleveland Browns, the quarterback, now in the second year of his $160 million contract, will be looking to turn things around for the Giants. As for Adams, she’s made it clear that while she’ll continue to support Jones on the field, their relationship is nothing more than friendly admiration.
