Kentucky basketball kicked off the season in impressive style on Monday, defeating the Wright State Raiders 103-62 at Rupp Arena. The Wildcats shot an impressive 60% from the field and 46% from beyond the arc, delivering an exciting performance for fans. The Wildcats proved they’re a team to avoid turning the ball over against, as they constantly turned Wright State’s mistakes into fast-break points. With quick guards driving the tempo, Kentucky created numerous scoring opportunities in transition, often leading to highlight-reel plays. Their ball movement was equally impressive, assisting on 30 of their 39 made shots.
