The Early Signing Period for college football recruiting has begun, marking the first day prospects in the 2025 class can officially sign with the schools of their choice. The signing period, running through Friday, allows players to finalize their decisions ahead of the traditional National Signing Day in February.
Tennessee entered the Early Signing Day with the No. 10 recruiting class nationally and the No. 7 class in the SEC, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. The Vols started the day with 24 commitments, many of whom are expected to join the team in time for College Football Playoff practices.
Several Tennessee targets are expected to make announcements today, and there’s a possibility of further additions to the class, as some recruits are waiting until National Signing Day to finalize their decisions. Some of the Vols’ current commitments may also flip to other schools.
GoVols247 is offering live updates throughout the day, including breaking news, signings, and rankings. The coverage includes a live show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time, featuring recruiting insiders, with Tennessee coach Josh Heupel scheduled to discuss the class in a press conference at 11:45 a.m. Eastern.
