The Oregon Ducks secured a major victory on the recruiting trail by landing a commitment from Kendre Harrison, a five-star tight end in the 2026 class. Harrison, ranked as the No. 1 tight end and the ninth overall prospect in the class, chose Oregon over other top programs, including Florida State, North Carolina, and Miami.
Standing 6’6″ and weighing 243 pounds, Harrison is a dual-sport athlete, excelling in both football and basketball. He plans to play football under Coach Dan Lanning and basketball for Coach Dana Altman at Oregon. Harrison cited Oregon’s dynamic atmosphere, coaching staff, and effective use of tight ends in their offense as key reasons for his decision. His visits to Eugene, including a standout experience during the Ducks’ game against Ohio State, further solidified his commitment.
This commitment strengthens Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 1 nationally. Harrison joins an elite group of recruits, making the Ducks a formidable presence in college athletics moving forward.
