On the first day of the early signing period, Florida State Seminoles signed 15 players as Mike Norvell continues to improve his roster. The first signee was four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard, who has been committed to FSU since October 2023.
At his press conference, Norvell expressed his excitement about officially adding Pritchard to the team, particularly highlighting his aggressive mentality as a linebacker. “He is a fast and athletic linebacker who plays with a pissed-off mentality, and I love it,” Norvell said.
The Seminoles have faced challenges in recruiting linebackers in recent years and have been focused on strengthening this position. Norvell is confident that Pritchard can make an impact quickly due to his speed and power. “He’s all about the right things and has stayed committed to FSU despite others trying to sway him,” Norvell added. “I’m excited about what he will bring, and he has the potential to do great things early.”
Pritchard is ranked No. 449 overall and No. 49 among linebackers in the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the only linebacker in FSU’s 2025 signing class.
