Antonio Kite, a defensive back who transferred from Alabama to Auburn last offseason, has reportedly re-entered the transfer portal after one season with the Tigers. Before joining Auburn, Kite spent two years at Alabama but did not record any statistics in either the 2022 or 2023 seasons, primarily serving on special teams. He was a highly regarded four-star recruit out of Anniston High School in Alabama as part of the Crimson Tide’s 2022 recruiting class.
Kite transferred within the SEC, moving from Alabama to Auburn, but was dismissed from the Tigers’ team in late October and has not played since. During his time at Auburn in 2024, Kite appeared in eight games as a safety, recording six tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery, which he returned for a touchdown.
