Auburn football made a big splash during the Early National Signing Period earlier this month, securing all 25 of its committed recruits for the 2025 class. The period, which ran from December 4 to December 6, marked the Tigers’ successful effort in building one of the nation’s top recruiting classes. Ranked No. 6 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC, Auburn’s 2025 signees are poised to make a significant impact in the years ahead.
This talented group includes a mix of high-caliber athletes, many of whom are set to join the team as early enrollees in January 2025. Among the standouts are Duece Knight, a promising quarterback from Mississippi; Anquon “Newboy” Fegans, a highly touted safety from Alabama; and Malik Autry, a dominant defensive lineman from Opelika, AL.
The class also features Jared Smith, a dynamic edge rusher from Alabaster, AL, and Alvin Henderson, a skilled running back from Elba, AL, who is expected to bolster the Tigers’ ground game. On the offensive line, Auburn adds key talent like Broderick Shull from Oklahoma and Tai Buster from North Carolina, ensuring depth and strength in the trenches.
Several signees bring national attention to the program, including cornerbacks Blake Woodby from Baltimore, MD, and Donovan Starr from Tennessee, who add speed and versatility to the defense. Notably, tight ends Ryan Ghea and Hollis Davidson will provide new options for Auburn’s passing attack.
With a few more potential additions during February’s signing period and expected contributions from the transfer portal, Auburn’s 2025 class represents a significant step forward for the program under Hugh Freeze. This group of future stars is set to shape the Tigers’ success for years to come.
