Auburn linebacker Laquan Robinson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, as confirmed by On3’s Pete Nakos on Friday. Robinson joined Auburn in January after transferring from Holmes Community College, where he had been ranked as the top safety and 13th overall player in the JUCO rankings by On3’s 2024 Industry Top Junior College Recruits. He chose Auburn over other SEC schools.
After joining the Tigers, Robinson was moved to linebacker, but his time at Auburn was brief. He played in the first four games of the season, recording just one tackle in the opener against Alabama A&M. His decision to transfer adds to Auburn’s growing list of players in the portal this offseason, which now includes 12 players, such as quarterbacks Hank Brown and Holden Geriner, wide receivers Caleb Burton and Camden Brown, tight ends Micah Riley-Ducker and Grant Hidalgo, defensive linemen TJ Lindsey and Gage Keys, safeties Antonio Kite and Caleb Wooden, and offensive tackle EJ Harris Jr.
