With the regular season wrapped up and the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff (CFP) bracket set, it’s time for bowl season excitement. Thirteen out of the 16 Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams are bowl-eligible following the 2024 season. The teams missing out on bowl games this year are Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Auburn. Kentucky finished with a 4-8 record, Mississippi State ended at 2-10, and Auburn had a 5-7 season.
This year, only three SEC teams are headed to the College Football Playoff: No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Texas, and No. 7 Tennessee.
