Following his postgame radio interview with Tom Leach, Pope made a special gesture for the fans. He sent the entire Kentucky basketball team back out onto the court to mingle with the crowd, giving fans a chance to interact and celebrate the rivalry win together.
Pope took it a step further, staying long after the game’s conclusion to sign autographs for every single fan who waited in line. The excitement continued as Pope tossed t-shirts into the stands, solidifying his growing reputation as a coach who truly values his fans.
