After transferring from Dayton to Kentucky for his final collegiate season, Brea thrived in the Southeastern Conference, showcasing his elite shooting and composure. The senior guard led the SEC in three-point percentage at 43.5% while also hitting 47% from the field and 91.4% from the free-throw line. He averaged 11.6 points per game, often serving as a reliable scoring option for one of the top programs in college basketball.
Brea’s sharpshooting and efficient scoring have become his calling card. He nearly eclipsed 50% from deep in his final season at Dayton, and that ability clearly carried over to the high-major level. His skill set fits perfectly in today’s NBA, where spacing, shooting, and quick decision-making are more valuable than ever.
The Indiana Pacers, who are already stacked with talented young playmakers, could benefit from adding a specialist like Brea to their rotation. His ability to stretch the floor and play smart, mistake-free basketball makes him an ideal role player at the next level.
Although Kentucky may have other prospects testing the waters, Brea appears to be the Wildcats’ most likely draft selection based on current projections. Players like Amari Williams and Lamont Butler are still in the conversation but may end up as undrafted free agents or summer league additions.
