In an incredible opportunity for any young softball player, Bailee recently had the chance to participate in an exclusive hitting workshop with some of the brightest stars in collegiate softball. The event was hosted by a group of Oklahoma Sooners alumni, including All-Americans Jayda Coleman, Kenzie Hansen, and a surprise guest who added an extra spark to the already star-studded lineup. This workshop not only provided Bailee with unparalleled access to some of the best to ever play the game, but it also gave her valuable insights that will undoubtedly enhance her skills on the field.
Jayda Coleman, known for her exceptional ability to make contact and her powerful bat, was a key figure at the workshop, offering Bailee personalized coaching tips on mechanics, timing, and approach at the plate. Coleman’s experience playing at the highest levels of college softball, including winning multiple national championships, made her advice invaluable. She emphasized the importance of mental focus and adjusting to different pitching styles, a lesson Bailee was quick to absorb.
Kenzie Hansen, another Oklahoma legend, was equally instrumental in helping Bailee refine her technique.
