Nebraska softball standout Jordy Bahl has been recognized as the Cornhuskers’ Most Valuable Player for the 2025 season, capping a historic year marked by exceptional two-way performances and a collection of prestigious accolades.
Bahl, a junior from Papillion, Nebraska, made a triumphant return after a season-ending ACL injury in 2024. Her comeback was nothing short of spectacular, as she became the first player in Big Ten history to be named both Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year in the same season. On the mound, Bahl posted a 23–5 record with a 1.46 ERA, including a 10–2 record and 1.83 ERA in conference play.
