Elko, who took over the program in late 2023 following his return from a successful stint at Duke, has transformed a once-underperforming team into a force to be reckoned with in the SEC. With an unrelenting focus on fundamentals, toughness, and accountability, Elko has restored pride in Aggieland and sparked the most successful season for Texas A&M in over a decade.
Under his leadership, the Aggies posted a 12-1 regular-season record, including statement victories over Alabama, LSU, and an emotional road win against in-state rival Texas, marking their first meeting in over a decade.
