In a surprise announcement that has Auburn fans buzzing across the nation, the former Heisman Trophy winner and dual-sport superstar has donated not one but two state-of-the-art luxury buses to the Auburn Tigers football program. The donation, revealed Saturday morning at a special ceremony outside Jordan-Hare Stadium, marks another chapter in Jackson’s enduring commitment to his alma mater.
“These boys bust their tails for this university,” Jackson said while unveiling the custom-painted, Auburn-branded buses. “If they’re going to travel, they’re going to do it like champions.”
The custom buses, built by Prevost and outfitted by a high-end interior firm in Nashville, feature everything from leather reclining seats and high-speed Wi-Fi to full entertainment systems, sleeping pods, and even a built-in nutrition station. Each bus proudly sports Auburn’s orange and blue, complete with Bo Jackson’s signature and the phrase “War Eagle Always.”
Coach Hugh Freeze, clearly moved, called the donation a “game-changer for morale and professionalism.”
“This is about pride,” Freeze said. “Bo’s always been the gold standard. For him to step in like this, unprompted, and do something so impactful for these kids—it says everything about who he is.”
According to Auburn Athletics, the buses will be used for all in-state travel and selected away games where air travel is not required. Players already nicknamed the buses “Bo One” and “Bo Two,” and the team took them for a symbolic inaugural ride around campus after the ceremony.
