In a move that has Hokie Nation buzzing with pride, NFL Hall of Famer and Virginia Tech legend Bruce Smith has made a monumental donation to his alma mater—two custom-designed, luxury motorcoaches that are already being hailed as the new gold standard in collegiate travel.
Nicknamed “The Rolling Sandman” and “Enter Sandman II,” the twin luxury buses were unveiled this morning at a special ceremony outside Lane Stadium. The sleek, black-and-maroon vehicles are emblazoned with chrome Hokie Birds, LED-lit interiors, reclining massage chairs, 8K entertainment screens, onboard recovery stations, and even a sound system capable of blasting “Enter Sandman” loud enough to shake a stadium.
