In a heartfelt and historic open letter released early Tuesday morning, University of Oklahoma Softball Head Coach Patty Gasso addressed the entire Sooner community with gratitude, reflection, and inspiration after the team’s unforgettable 2025 season.
Fresh off leading the Sooners to their unprecedented fifth consecutive national title, Gasso, who has helmed the program for over three decades, described the season as “the most emotionally fulfilling and spiritually grounding journey of my coaching career.”
