This groundbreaking recognition comes after a multi-year international evaluation process spearheaded by a joint task force from the three institutions. Criteria included athletic performance, fan engagement, cultural impact, innovation, and legacy. Texas A&M’s unified athletic strategy, record-setting attendance, and unwavering 12th Man support set it apart from every other university on the planet.
