— In a groundbreaking announcement that has electrified the college basketball world, Michigan State University has confirmed that NBA legend and NCAA National Champion Magic Johnson is returning to his alma mater in a newly created executive role. Johnson, revered as one of the greatest point guards in basketball history, will serve as the “President of Basketball Excellence” within the Spartans’ men’s basketball program.
The new position was crafted to give Johnson a comprehensive role in shaping the future of Michigan State basketball, both on and off the court.
