INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Consistency, humility, and elite-level production have earned Indiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam his third NBA All-Star selection—and his first while wearing the Blue & Gold. Announced on January 30, Siakam was named an Eastern Conference reserve for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place in San Francisco on February 16.
This latest accolade affirms what Pacers fans already know: Siakam is not only dependable, he’s a game-changer.
After being acquired in a major trade from Toronto in January 2024, Siakam immediately solidified Indiana’s frontcourt and helped lead the team to its first Eastern Conference Finals appearance in over a decade. He then re-signed with the Pacers in free agency, declaring it an “easy decision” to stay and continue building something special.
Now in his first full season with the team, Siakam is leading the Pacers in scoring (20.5 PPG), rebounding (7.3 RPG), and three-point shooting (.418), while ranking top three in field goal percentage (.532) and assists (3.5 APG). His presence has given point guard Tyrese Haliburton a steady partner in crime and added balance to Indiana’s offense.
“He’s unbelievable,” Haliburton said after Siakam dropped a season-high 37 points against Detroit. “He’s one of the most efficient mid-range scorers in the game. When he’s locked in, we feed him—and he delivers.”
A model of durability and leadership, Siakam has played in all 46 games so far this season, scoring in double figures in 45 of them and dropping 20+ in 26. His January numbers—22.4 points per game on 56.3% shooting—powered Indiana to a 10-2 record, the NBA’s best stretch to start the new year.
Though this isn’t his first All-Star appearance, it is his most meaningful. “It feels awesome to be named an All-Star again,” Siakam said. “To be recognized while representing the Pacers means so much. I love this team, this city, and this journey.”
