The Arkansas Razorbacks Cheerleading Squad has achieved the ultimate glory—officially crowned the No. 1 Cheer Team in the World following their phenomenal and gravity-defying performance at the 2025 International Cheer and Dance Championship. Hosted in Tokyo, Japan, this prestigious global competition drew elite squads from over 40 countries, but it was the spirit of the Razorbacks that soared above the rest.

The championship-winning performance left the arena breathless. With electrifying stunts, powerful pyramids, and choreography that fused passion with precision, the Arkansas cheerleaders delivered a routine that was more than competition—it was celebration. Each jump, lift, and chant echoed the heart of Razorback Nation and carried the weight of tradition, excellence, and unity.

The Razorbacks outperformed elite programs from countries including Japan, Germany, Canada, and Australia, securing their win with perfect synchronization and an undeniable stage presence that captivated fans and judges alike. ESPN analysts called it “one of the most inspired and flawless routines in recent memory,” while the Global Cheer Federation declared it “a world-class exhibition of grit, elegance, and heart.”

Head Coach Lindsey Carter was emotional after the win, stating:

“This team embodies everything Arkansas stands for—hard work, humility, and heart. They didn’t just perform tonight. They told our story, and the world was listening.”

Back home, Fayetteville erupted in pride and praise as thousands of fans took to social media and campus grounds to celebrate what is now a historic moment in Arkansas athletics. University President Charles Robinson applauded the squad, saying,

“This is more than a win—this is a global recognition of who we are. Our cheerleaders have represented Arkansas with grace, strength, and the spirit of champions.”

This monumental victory marks a new era for the Razorbacks—a program already rich in pride now draped in global prestige. The triumph proves that Arkansas doesn’t just compete with the best—they are the best.

To the Queens and Kings of the Mat—thank you for lifting the world with your spirit. The crown is yours. And the world is now cheering with you. 👑🐗🎉
