Former Alabama wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks is officially getting his shot under the bright lights of the NFL’s Monday Night Football stage. Seeking a larger role, he transferred to Louisville for the 2024 campaign, where he became the Cardinals’ go-to target, recording 61 receptions for 1,013 yards and nine touchdowns.
Now, after years of development and persistence, Brooks has a chance to show what he can do at football’s highest level. His combination of precise route-running and reliable hands could make him an unexpected contributor in Washington’s offense — especially with key receivers sidelined.
