Georgia football is still waiting for two of their recruits to officially sign with the team. So far, the Bulldogs have enjoyed a near-perfect early signing period, with 25 out of 26 commitments already locked in. The only exception is running back Ousmane Kromah, who switched his commitment to Florida State at the last minute.
While most of Georgia’s recruits have signed their National Letters of Intent, two key players—four-star defensive back Jaylan Morgan and three-star quarterback Hezekiah Millender—are still unsigned. This has raised some concerns among fans, especially since the early signing period began nearly 48 hours ago. However, according to Jed May of Rivals, there’s no reason to panic just yet.
The reasons for the delay in Morgan and Millender’s signings are unclear. It’s possible that both players are planning to host signing events at their schools, a common practice among recruits. Fans will have to wait a little longer for official confirmation, but there’s no indication that either player is reconsidering their commitment to Georgia.
In the meantime, Georgia fans should also keep an eye on five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry, who is set to announce his commitment on Friday. Early reports suggest that Terry is likely to choose Georgia, which could boost the Bulldogs’ standing back to No. 1 in the recruiting rankings if they retain Morgan and Millender and secure Terry’s commitment.
