SEC Network’s Dari Nowkhah acknowledged the electric atmosphere, pausing to let the crowd’s excitement speak for itself. Moments later, Oweh and head coach Mark Pope joined the set to break down the thrilling finish. Oweh admitted he made two costly turnovers but stayed locked in, ultimately sinking the game-winner.
Pope praised his star player, emphasizing Oweh’s mental toughness. “Not many human beings can go through those two plays and then deliver like that. It’s a testament to his character and the heart of our team,” he said.
