Harris, known for his hustle, grit, and team-first mentality, left a lasting impact on the Kentucky basketball program during his time from 2006 to 2010.
Before making his mark at Rupp Arena, Harris was already a household name in Alaska basketball. He earned the prestigious titles of 2006 Mr. Basketball for the State of Alaska and Gatorade State Player of the Year, highlighting his dominance on the court and his leadership off it. His rise from the frosty courts of Anchorage to the spotlight of Lexington was a testament to his work ethic, discipline, and passion for the game.
Ramon Harris may not have been the flashiest player on the roster, but his contributions were crucial.
