Aubie, the iconic striped tiger known for his charismatic antics and deep connection with Auburn fans, stole the spotlight with his showstopping performances and heartwarming interactions across five countries.
According to ESPN, Aubie edged out dozens of top-tier contenders from institutions including Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Japan’s Waseda University, thanks to his unparalleled crowd engagement, creativity, and legacy. Judges praised his “timeless appeal, theatrical brilliance, and embodiment of school pride.”

The Global Mascot Parade finale in London’s Trafalgar Square marked a turning point in mascot history. Aubie captivated the crowd with a 12-minute choreographed routine that included a tribute to Auburn’s famed “War Eagle” battle cry and a surprise flash mob involving over 200 fans in orange and blue.
