With the 59th pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets select Tennessee’s Jahmai Mashack.
A relentless defender and high-character leader, Mashack was the 2025 University of Tennessee Torchbearer—the school’s highest student honor—and earned national recognition as the Field of 68 Defensive Player of the Year. He also tied with teammate Zakai Zeigler for the most victories by a four-year player in Tennessee program history.
The Rockets traded the pick to the Memphis Grizzlies, meaning Mashack will stay home in the Volunteer State.
