EAST LANSING, MI — July 3, 2025 — In a spectacular finish to a breakout collegiate debut, Michigan State’s Rachel Forsyth has officially earned All-American honors in the 5000-meter run, solidifying her place as one of the brightest young stars in NCAA Track & Field.
The freshman phenom delivered a gutsy performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, showcasing not only her impressive endurance and speed but also her competitive maturity far beyond her years. Forsyth crossed the finish line with a time of 15:42.19, placing her among the top finishers nationally and earning her All-American recognition in just her first year wearing the Green and White.
A Season to Remember
From the first gun of the season, Rachel Forsyth proved she was more than ready for the collegiate stage. After a dominant high school career in Michigan, she seamlessly transitioned to the Big Ten, quickly establishing herself as a key contributor in both cross country and track.
