Joshua. Patrick. Allen.
What a remarkable player he is.
In a stunning display on Monday Night Football, the Buffalo Bills trounced the Jacksonville Jaguars 47-10, showcasing a performance that was nothing short of artistic. Leading the charge was quarterback Josh Allen, who delivered an otherworldly showing in the first half alone. By the end of the game, he amassed 263 passing yards and 44 rushing yards, totaling 307 yards of offense. He threw four touchdown passes, avoided any sacks or turnovers, and completed passes to 10 different receivers. With three of his four passing touchdowns coming in the first half and James Cook adding a rushing touchdown, the game was essentially decided before halftime.

Josh Allen of the @BuffaloBills is the first QB in NFL history to…
complete 75% of his passes
throw for 4+ TDs
have no turnovers
take no sacks
lead his team in rushing yards…all in the same game. pic.twitter.com/5YHIa33H47

While I expected Allen to have a standout game, what he delivered surpassed all expectations.
Allen has solidified his status as the best quarterback in the NFL—not just in the top five or top three; he stands alone at the top.
What made this performance so impressive was Allen’s poise throughout the game. He never appeared uncomfortable or forced plays, making every decision with confidence. He orchestrated a diverse and fluid offense under the guidance of offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who has skillfully crafted the playbook.
The pre-snap motions and route combinations worked in perfect harmony, reminiscent of musicians playing “in the pocket,” capturing the rhythm and flow of a song. Allen was undeniably “in the pocket,” effortlessly executing the game plan.
We’ve seen Allen display his Superhuman capabilities time and again, but the beauty of this offense lies in its ability to thrive without requiring him to be a superhero every play. Time and again, Allen took what the defense gave him, including a perfectly placed throw to Khalil Shakir that allowed for yards after the catch—a textbook example of a precise pass.
Little things like how perfect the ball placement is on this crosser route, which allows Shakir to stay in stride at full speed and turn up the field, often go unnoticed. This is beautiful, Josh. pic.twitter.com/7mTD52ONDR

Right now, Allen and the Bills are playing like the best team in football. Since halftime of Week 1, they’ve outscored their opponents 102-38, demonstrating their versatility in attack. This start to the season is more than anyone could have hoped for in Buffalo.
With Allen leading the way, the Bills are poised for a promising season. Let’s go, Bills!
